Foremost, she is a mother, wife and daughter. She and her husband, John, are the proud parents of two daughters—Grace, age 6, and Isla Rose, age 5 months. Grace attends a Conroe district school. Her husband, John Wisinger, received his bachelor and master’s degree from Texas A&M University. He serves as the Engineering Manager-Product Solutions with Halliburton. Also, making up their household are two rescue dogs, Lola and Louis.
Claire is a native-born Texan and graduated in the second graduating class from The Woodlands High School. Claire was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with the academic distinction of being magna cum laude.
Claire graduated from Trinity University-San Antonio with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology.
While seeking her under-graduate degree, Claire did a study aboard program through Boston University. While living and studying in London, Claire interned with one of Europe’s largest public relation firms.
Claire obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from New York Law School located in New York City. After her first year of law school, Claire sought and obtained an internship in Washington, DC, where she called on our congressional representatives on Capitol Hill seeking equal pay for women.
During her second and third year of law school Claire pursued and obtained an internship in the Public Advocates office for New York City. This office is the second highest elected office in the New York City government. She worked directly under the supervision of the General Counsel where she was involved in dealing with education, women’s issues, child-welfare, affordable housing, and senior citizen’s issues.
Upon receiving her law degree, Claire returned to Texas where she served as the Assistant Director of Development for the University of Texas Medical School-Houston. This involved her working directly with the medical school alumni to generate funding for medical research and scholarship funding for future medical doctors.
For the last eight (8) years Claire has been in private law practice with her office located in Conroe. During this period her practice has involved constant and direct involvement in all aspects of how our legal system and courtrooms function. This involvement gives Claire a firm understand for the decorum of a courtroom and the role a judge must perform to keep a courtroom operative for those seeking recourse from our legal system. As a member of the State Bar of Texas she has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of Texas. Claire’s legal practice is focused on representing children and parents involved in Child Protective Services, as well as family law, probate, estate planning and guardianship law.
Other than working a full time schedule in her law practice, Claire is an avid reader and world traveler. Her goal is to visit all seven continents; so far five down, two to go—Antarctica and South America
